Protect your child...

Mary and Chad are not married but have a child together...  Mary has had the child in her care since it was born and it is now 8 months old...  can Chad legally take the child from Mary and not return it?  Yes... and it happens all the time...  Make sure if you are the father that you establish paternity.... if you are the mother, make sure you get an order from the court establishing the Parent//child relationship.  ***
